Trash Can Flowering Chamber

I couldn't find a place dark enough to flower a plant, and I don't have a lot of money to buy anything at all to build with, so I started exploring my options and came up with this little gem. Just took a black trash can, cleaned it up, and upended the thing to cover the plant for 12 hours. As I suspected, the plant was wet with dew the following morning..now what? Just as any other growroom, intake and exhaust!. I had a pvc elbow, and a rubber thing that fit inside, so I cut a hole in the can, painted the inside of the pipe dark grey, and sandwitched it together. That took care of the intake. I had a small squirrel cage fan hanging around, cut a hole for the exhaust, and 2 mounting holes. Installed it, and checked for light leaks. There was a little coming in from the exhaust, so I got this rubber firewall grommet for the steering column in this car I had scrapped, it made a nice cap for the exhaust which was able to allow the air to flow freely, yet stops all the light from coming into the dark room. I just ran the power wire in through the intake, and viola! A free flowering chamber.

Ive done this with clones that I flowered outside. I have a Shed and I would put the clones in at 12 hours;in the shed under the trash can. Worked very well for me I had A harvest of Orange Kush by july 4th.
