traveling with bud

hello everyone, this is my first post here.

i go to school in a place where the weed just isn't up to my standards. so i travel back home every 3-4 weeks to pick up the good stuff.

i travel in my own car, it's just a straight highway for about 160 miles. i obey all traffic laws, make sure everything on my car is working so i don't get pulled over. and i also keep my inspection sticker up to date.

i usually just throw the bud in a bag under my spare tire in the trunk. however i have stopped making these trips because i'm scared i might get pulled over and they might get the K9 and then i'm fucked.

do you guys think it's safe to conceal the stash around my crotch area? or better to keep it somewhere around the car?

If you have no priors and you obey all laws and everything is working/up to date on your car you'll be fine just keep it in the trunk like you been doing and dont consent to a search ever.

A lot probably depends on how much your carrying and how what the penalties are for carrying it.

i live in ny state, and i have a possession of marijuana ticket already. but i got caught with less than a gram. but in ny state if you get caught with less than 25 grams. it's just a ticket. but after your 2nd time it's a misdemeanor.

and wouldn't not consenting to a search only make the cops more suspicious? i mean if i hide the weed on me good, so they don't find it when they pat me down.
they can search the car and won't find nothing. or is that just a bad idea?

I travel often and here is what I do...I can't say it works because I just act normal when I get pulled over, use visine after stoning, and I have never been hassled....

You can't fool a K9, so fool the owner. Keep a cooler in your car filled with a few sodas and some meat items....I usually roll with a few burger patties and keep some bread near the cooler....I then stash the weed on the front pocket of the cooler.

The theory here is if you do get pulled over and the dog goes crazy on your cooler, when they open it up they will see meat and sodas, and figure the dog was barking for the meat.

Maybe you can also get some fast food and leave a burger on top of the cooler like you were too full to eat it. Another thing I want to try is to rig a soda can so I can put my weed in it, and then stick it in the cooler. I just need a good way to seal it tight to ensure dryness...
