What if you were to have a raising platform with multiple buckets on it with a pulley system on that and the rope to drop and raise is actualy located a couple trees away so nobobody would figure it out.

Might work on this in the summer. Have some acres of land but im too paranoid of planting in the ground because of tresspassers but up in the trees nobody would find.

Ohh it will work but pulling the bucket up and down without the plants hitting treebranches will be hard as fuck but it will work though, I had a platform in a tree in my moms back yard a long ass time ago and it worked great but it was a big willow tree with the middle cleared out. try it and keep us posted.

a rope with pulleys? thatll make it stand out and be more visable, not to mention then itll be easier for someone to steal your shit.

I was thinking just a platorm in the tree for the plants and have a pulley system for watering, then find a tree to cut down that can be used as a ladder that you could hide away from the tree, but make sure the tree is impossible to get in without a ladder .That way it would be harder to get the plants if someone was to find them. have a whole tree top crop.

camo burlap bags.

tie them to the tree with some army green paracord

i wouldnt use quite as much perlite as with a normal pot/bucket grow so you dont have to water so often.

climbing a tree will be good exercise...and will pay off in the end im sure. full sunlight, good yield, and slealthy (if you are smart).

last but certainly not least dont tell anyone...weed growing in a tree would be a hot topic, and youre attention craving friends would love to let that "slip" while smoking/shootin the shit with their other buddies. who would tell their other buddies, and so on and so forth...

so has anyone had a good crop from growing in trees? seems like the plants wouldnt get enough direct sunlight... unless they were at the top but then could be easily dectected from the air..

i had a friend that grew up in Hawaii, him, and his brother, back in the early 80's grew in trees. they det up platforms about 2/3rds from the top, and cleared out a few of the higher branches, and used 10 Gal pots. they watered every other day. they had 3 pots in a tree, and used 5 trees. they got between 1/2 to 1 Lb per plant. then, about 2 years ago, my Bro-in-law planted 1 of my clones right next to the trunk of an very young apple tree, it was long and stretchy until late july, or so, then the tops started to get higher then the tree. the tops started to fill out nicely then. it only yielded about 7 Oz, but i walked by it for a month or so, b4 he showed it to me, i never saw it for what it was. the apple tree was about 7 Ft tall, but it was a very well hidden plant, healthy, but leggy, and a bit stressed, b4 it got tall enough. BUT, back to the tree top idea. i saw pics they took, i was impressed with what they did, but he said clearing out about half the branched was the trick to getting enough light in. he said the year b4 he did OK, but the 2nd year, they thinned out the branched, it tripled the yield. hope this helped some.
