I have 4 different plants, two almost straight indica, one mix, and one almost completely sativa.
All the hairs are white except the indicas have about 20% amber hairs, mix has about 5-10%, and the sativa has like all white hairs..
The trich question is, I use a microscope to determine color and from my inspection about 15 minutes ago, the two indicas appear about 25% amber, 60% cloudy, and 15% clear...
This is only my 3rd grow, and it's been a year since my last one so I need to brush up...
Are my trichs coinciding with the current hair change?
I don't want to miss my window of oppertunity, thy're all on week 6 right now, and these indicas look like they're going to be ready in a week, MAYBE two if I want it couch locked.
My mix has about 35% clear 60% cloudy and 5% amber, and the pure sativa has about 45% clear 55% cloudy with no amber.
So the biggest question is, when I get to the day after christmas, all the trichs look ripe, and yet theres still like 30-40% white hairs, should I wait? Or trust the trichs.
I've been told both and not the other, so a straight answer would be nice, even just more opinions.
3 of the plants are over 2 months veg, and one is over 1 month veg under 400w HPS and a couple CFLs for the low parts of the plants.
Anything appreciated
