Hi guys, I have never been able to tell clear and cloudy trichomes apart. I have noticed Amber on previous grows but still didn't get much of a high and I'm putting it down to harvesting too early. I have pictures of trichomes on buds but can't tell. I'm on day 63, beginning of week 10 breeder says plant should be ready in 9 weeks. This is the best pics I can get even with my x45 loupe. P. S around 50/50 pistils white and brown. I'm not looking at harvesting right now, just want advice on how to tell apart or what mine are now so I can look for a change in colour.

Yeah, I know to wait a bit longer my general rule to chop is when all hairs have gone brown and started to curl in but previous grows as I say havent been great potency wise so was just hoping for some advice on trichomes. I'm guessing the ones i posted are clear then haha.

Mix of cloudy n clear...couple more weeks prolly maybe 3 wouldn't hurt
Sounds good. The gorilla's I ran before this went for 12 weeks, not much effect. Will keep looking at trichomes and see if I notice any colour change.
Waiting for one to come in stock, bought this one few weeks back from local store, best they had.

I have a shitty one. But it has an led on the bottom, which really helps. I just pull it back far enough until it's good. Or put it over your phone lens...clean both first...get a good pic then zoom in it'll work. Good luck friend

Autos are weaker than their photoperiod counterparts.

Look amazing buddy. I do have a couple photo seeds, my problem is space, I think they would outgrow my tent and I'm not 100% comfortable topping as I don't fully understand it. I would like to give a photo a go though.

I prefer the control of photos over autos. Topping is super easy. Just scary your first time. Once you try it, you'll be like, hold my joint, I got this.
To clarify without being all self righteous, lol. Ive never grown autos, but I don't really want to either...for now...i like to try new things...it will eventually happen.

4 average. I mean it tasted great and was smooth and was some generally good weed. But it was nowhere near that FIRE. It was really pretty and looked fire. But its not. Doing my first photoperiod "learning grow" this summer and going all out this winter. 4 plants. 15-20 gallon fabric pots. 5x5 tent. 1000w double ended hps. I think i have the perfect recipe.
