Hello All!
First Post here, I've recently (that being relative) started growing marijuana. The relativity is that I've been able to harvest a few plants now and I've been very happy with how my buds are coming out. I've heard that depending on the colors of the trichomes and what sort of high you are trying to achieve the plant will let you know when it ready to harvest. That's how I've been judging my harvests, so far so good. About 75% milky and 25% amber trichomes seem to be my magic numbers. Now I've read up that the color of the pistols also may have something to do with determining thc readiness. I'm wondering if anyone has personally known any truth to this. Also, I now have a plant I assume to be sativa dominant, its trichomes are aging in an odd fashion. I should have roughly 2-3 weeks left to go and the trichomes are about 50% milky, 25% amber and 25% clear. What would be my best bet in this case for a more stoney sort of high?
