Glad this was brought up as i was planning on using an old pickle jar (not had pickles in for at least a year) but no doubt will affect the bud, thanks for posting this

thanks man just in time lol, but how about a plastic ziplock container? would that do the same thing or does it need to be glass?
IMO, glass . . . I mean, you know how hard it can be to get the stink, stain, etc out of plastic bowls, like after chili . . . that's gotta account for something un-good.

so ive been waiting for my other 5 plants to finish, and today i got my microscope in the mail. I used it right away and noticed that most of my trichomes are still clear!! wtf they should have been done by now, also the other day some plants shot up some more white hairs, so now i'm really confused. could my over fertilizing early in the flowering phase push back my harvest by 3 weeks? i've been giving my plants nothing but water for the last 2 weeks hoping to be done soon, but now i'm wondering if i should give them some more nutes if its gonna be another 2 weeks. i might have to get some wooden dowels also to hold my plants cuz they can barely stand on their own at the moment, they are all leaning into each other.
