Hey all, Has anyone ever noticed this? My first grow, the tric's turned about 15% more during dry and cure.Dryed 4 days and cured 4 to 6 weeks.
https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/524437-1st-ever-grow-1st-ever.html
Them 3 harvested right around the 60 day mark. Everything turned out great. I just looked at one of the cola's and tric's are about 25 to 30% amber.

Now these two are clones of one of the plants, 74 days in flower????? (momma harvested in 60 days). Tric's on one of them is all cloudy and about 5% clear no amber, hairs are 60% brown/red I will be taking it at 10% amber. I had a couple of breaks on this one and did a 3 day dry and it has been it a jar for about a week. When it broke it was about 75% cloudy 25% clear, after 1 week cure it has about 10% amber,90% cloudy????? They both were stunted or something, but the otherone is at 50/50 on clear and cloudy and the cola's are getting huge has at least a week or so left. The one on the left is closest to harvest. The one by itself is still a week or two away. Cola hairs are just pure white, not one brown yet. worst part about this whole thing is 4 to 6 hrs of trimming,,,lol

Yes,I scoped some what the same thing.A mostly cloudy milky harvest with no amber.Couple days drying, and an amber will show up here and there but very few.A few Brown Trich's lookin like burnt, and deflated.I wondered if it was from faint light leak in drying area.
I find that the still alive, and stressing out makes the most sense.

Heat might have been a problem, they were kept in mason jars in a box in closet. Room was about 65 to 70 degrees. might have been warmer in box. 1st week I opened up a couple of times a day. second through 6th as needed to keep mold out. 1st timer and I babysat these to make sure the entire process was done the best I could.

Alright, now I'm at the point, Harvest when not rdy? All cloudy tric's maybe 1 percent amber. 80 days in flower. I want to chop, but I also want the cola's to get bigger,,,lol Have 1 or 2 colas getting to be about a ft long. Not 1 brown hair on entire plant. I have this little voice inside telling me to chop. Especially since the mother was done in 8 wks. Help!!!!

you could give it a few more days at least. a few amber arent really a terrible thing.

but i know how you feel. i generally chop at maybe 5% amber. told myself i would go longer on a few plants but I couldnt bring myself to do it.

I said a few more days a week ago,,,lol Harvested it's sister plant a week ago. Getting cold around here, like to get this out of box soon. Have 3 more rdy to go in it's place. Them 3 might be a challenge, 1st time going through a winter. These are in an outbuilding with no heat. Just going to put a temp. controlled space heater in the box. Just have to find a new place to veg.

Seems I see more amber change when drying by hanging on stems than buds on a screen.. mayby a coincidence.

Look at it like this... When a farmer picks his crop for wholesale to so and so's market they pick it early enough that it will ripen while at the store or once the consumer has purchased it retail. You don't buy fruit at the grocery store that is already at peak ripeness unless you plant on consuming it that day or the next, you buy it while still somewhat green so it has a chance to ripen slowly and you can enjoy it at any stage you'd like. So even after you cut your crop it still matures until it's dry and thus dead, then it begins to degrade after three weeks or so. I know that doesn't sound right, but it is, google the degradation of thc. Anyways I hope this helps.
