Tricomes

So I’m sure I asked and everyone told me not even to worry about cutting a sugar leaf to check tricomes yet. My pant is now entering its sixth week of flower, it’s not ready yet, but I have an old school microscope with slides for looking at them. Is there an actual point where I will start to see them develop? I am more curious than anything the distributor of the seed says it’s 8 week flower? It’s a gorilla glue white?image.jpg

Flowering time is just an estimate, its more like 8-12 weeks due to environment & genetic variations from seed.

Once ripening comes around, you'll notice the flowers start to plump up and tighten, most if not all of the pistils will be curled in with a dark color.

Also, Check trichomes only at the calyx's.

That’s still got a while yet man at least another 3 weeks I’d say... and trics are always developing if you’ve got a microscope keep checking them out, they look like glass to begin, then progressive get milky gradually turning amber, a mixture of milky amber is what I aim for, more amber for couch lock, more milky for a more euphoric smoke If I recall correctly

That plant looks like it's gonna need another 4 - 6 weeks before you need to scope it.
She really struggled for a bit of her veg stage, so I’m hoping it won’t be a plain ass runt, the scope is just for my curiosity more than thinking she’s ready, I am hoping for another 4 weeks or so. She’s pretty bare now for buds

Do you just look at the white pistols on the upper buds? A lot of my lower buds,, seem to be brown and curled? But the top one definetley not
