Thanks m8. I was advised too try it by a dude on this site.I was a bit wary of doing it but with only room for 4 autos, so was hoping for a better yield This is my 2nd attempt at growing..The first time had lssues with ventilation all through grow as was in a cupboard with bricked up walls.Since moved tent into new are its way way better(vent probs sorted thanks to the same dude)//A great site for helpful tips & input which for as newbies is well appreciated

I believe if you are going to FIM or top autos that you should make the cut as early as possible. Like as soon as you have a crown you can get scissors on. Reason is that autos have a clock ticking that tells them when to flower and when to finish. So it wouldn't make a lot of sense to top a plant that is going to finish in a couple weeks. Most don't top autos as they prize the one big cola you can expect an auto to produce naturally. Keep us posted though as we are interested in your results.

Good luck, BigSteve.

FIM was done at 19 days. Having humidity probs.Won't come down any lower than 65% full grow. The grow tent is dry,not as if there's any condensation or wet patches ..They seem healthy enough at that % of humidity although the recommended is 40-50% during flower..

I have run several hydro runs with autos. I FIM them as soon as the baby sixth leaves begin to show. The end result is a four cola end product. I have found that I can produce at least 4 times the limit as described by the breeders.

Autos function completely different than standard photo-period plants. Time frame is literally cut in half and experimentation leads to very successful results
