I have never heard of anyone using evoo to clean their scissors or hands... you do realize isopropyl is like half the cost though right?
guilty as charged, I *may* have been to culinary school as well in a past life.

I like it better than iso for my hands and scissors. Cleans lubes and keeps more from sticking to them. For a good trim sesh I've also used bourbon for the scissors........then drink it later.

drinking spirits with fresh resin imbued....that's a winning idea.

..... i sense you're trolling but ill go ahead and answer this just in case you're not.. water and oil do not mix, especially not over heat. please dont add water...
Not trolling. When I make butter in the slow cooker I add water. When finished I strain it all through cheesecloth and let it separate in the fridge. Never made oil before so I wasnt sure if it was a similar process.
