Trimming and pruning

I'm new at this and I'm just looking for some information. I was wondering if it's to late to do some pruning on my plants. They are outdoor plants. I basically was just wondering if it was ok to get rid of most of the fan leaves cause I think the plant just wastes alot of energy on them and I need more light penetration to the center of the plant. So if I could get some feedback it would be great!! Thanks for your time.IMG_20200911_122717385.jpgIMG_20200911_122728348.jpg

The plant uses those leaves to create energy. Unless they are not getting light then they are at a deficit.
They are getting light.

Open her up by bending a few branches outward or by slapping some trellis in there to gently move branches outward and let more light in to middle.
Thanks. Like I said I'm new to this. But overall from the pics does everything look good?

I wouldn't touch it
Let mother nature grow it
Ok perfect ! I will just keep doing what I have been. And another question. It might be stupid but when do I know exactly when to harvest?? I heard when the tricoms have a Amber shade to them. Is there any other ways?

When all those little pistils turn orange/brown then recede into the bud
In most outdoor situations you can't get a long enough season to go past the maturity window

Yeah cause people have told me they could go almost to early November! The weather is already changing fast here in lower Michigan. Should I bring them in if I have to and put them under lights if it really gets to cold or just harvest at the last possible moment?? Sorry for maybe stupid questions like I said I'm new and this is my first grow ever. I've been learning as I go

I'm right outside of Detroit. But these are them as of like yesterday. Are they late or just maybe a sativa dominant strain. Cause one of my friends plants are basically almost done and it's only mid September. What do you think

How long have you been in flower this GDP has about 9 to 10 daysView attachment 4683362View attachment 4683364 and you got the sun as your light let it do it's job and you'll be loving life soon as always thank you for your time
I'm thinking around about the same time. What is wrong with my plants. I'm gonna go take a couple better pictures and kinda pin point the exact day I started seeing flowers so I'll get back to you in a few. But if yours look like that then there is something wrong with my plants. Does sativa or indica make a difference in how fast they produce buds. I need to know what's wrong!!
