trimming fan leaves in last week of flower

should i trim down some of my fan leaves ive got a bushy one and about a week and a half left of flower, should i trim down some of the leaves to allow light to the lower buds? just clean it up aa bit.

na i heard the leafs are what make ur bud thick n the leafs go yellow after.

But sometimes the leaves get so old, and crispy that the plant spends some reserve to recoup that leaf. instead of spending its energy on bud growth. Personally, I look at old leaves like cancer and remove at once. Also, If there blocking a good budsite its outta there..PRONTO! Each to there own. Peace.

Yes you can trim them. I usually pre-trim alot of the bigger fans day or two before harvest. Makes it a lot easier when you have to do alot of trimming.

If the leaf is dead remove it, If its still green, it's producing carbo foods for the budsite (you know, the stuff people add in, sometimes at high $$, to counter leaf removal?).

Leave it alone.

yea i think ill just leave them alone for now, i wasnt sure how long og kush is supposed to flower i thought 8 wks but probably more like 9-10 so ill keep them on till they start dying off.
