trimming leaves?

Hey growers! I wanted to know if people trim dead or burnt looking leaves or any bad leaves? I just trimmed a few. Most were at the bottom but some in the middle. It seemed ok and looks like there's more light hitting bud sites now so I don't think its a problem but I wanted to make sure any way even tho its a little late now. I took pics of 2 leaves, pretty much all of them look like this. Thanks for the help!

all look like that? if so it may be nute burn...kinda looks like it? it is a good idea to thin them out a little so light can penetrate threw the canopy and get down as far as it can usuallt penetrates 2 feet or so...

Yea most look like this. Maybe one or two are light burned and curled. So did I make a good choice? I mainly did it for better light penetration. The burned leaves were on for a whole but it looked ugly. Thanks for the help!

I've heard lollipopping before but not sure what it is or how to do it.. mine is a BUSH and i'm using cfls so I might have to do that for best light possible. And you cut all bottom/old leaves?. I've been flowering for 3 days tomorrow, and 38 days old. Showing female preflowers on every branch

female preflowers! lollipoping is just taking off the bottom 1/3 of the plants usless buds, branches and suckers it makes the plants focus on the bigger buds. there is no need for trying to let those little "popcorn' buds grow it also helps with pests gives them less space to hide...lol. let the plant focus on the larger scale. you wont regret it. look up a you tube video if you are not sure om how to do it...i love it. hope this helps

Yea it looks like you cut off quite a bit. When you cut leaves does it have to be all the down to the stem? I just cut the stem of the leaf like in the middle I didn't want to risk accidently cutting pistils

I know someone said I might of spilled nutes on it but I knew it was burnt by the light. Btw I just checked one of your journals. Lol lot of pages but awesome journal man! How'd those smoke?

I've never heard of lollipoping. That's something that I'm going to try out. I'm experiencing the same problem with my 32 day old. I briefly had a problem with over watering. I stopped that stupidity in a heartbeat. Now, every few days or so the leaves on the bottom of my plant seem to grow old, brittle, they feel like they are drying out and eventually turn yellow. The rest of the plant looks really healthy. I've always just snipped them off. Next week when I flip to flower I will do some trimming in order to make way for more light.
