trimming plants

hey - 1st grow under 1000 watt, 3 huge plants - 5 feet, in week 7 of flow.....top buds are nice, but underneath they are small....should i trim a lot of the middle leaves off to get at the bud/flowers?

Don't cut the leaves, they feed the buds. When the plants are done harvest the tops then put them back under the lights and let the lower stuff fatten up.

FYI- IN THE FUTURE, just trim up the lower stuff a bit during the first week or two of flower, it will send more energy to the developing colas, and help with air/ co2 circulation.

At this point you dont want to be cutting any leaves, like the previous poster said they feed the buds, your yields will suffer if you hack at them this late !

thanks! but fuck!!, i did trim a decent amount......85% of what i trimmed, broke off easily and had a little yellow......its just wierd, i c all these pics and it seems like most people just have the buds, and im looking at them saying, where r the leaves.....
