Another vote here for Fiskars.... we have like 30 pair of them. I don't really care for the non stick black blade ones, but the regular silver blades rock. When we harvest, we have about 12 pairs in a big container filled with alcohol. Just swap out every 15- 20 min, and you always have a fresh pair ready to go!

Chikamasa's are the shit. I used to swear by fiskars but now I think those are cheap plastic garbage.
The chika spring loaded pruning shears are better than fiskars in every department too. Perfect spring tension, full metal handles, sharp steel. etc. You can cut through thick branches with ease.

The curved tip, fluorine coated chikas are razor sharp, comfortable and you will not miss having a spring at all.

Nice. Im going to get a pair.
When you get Chicamasa, you see what quality is.

You can cut through a huge branch with almost no effort...branches a pair of regular shears will break cutting. Not recommended to use for big cuts but just making a point.

The sharpness and hardness make you understand why Japanese and (in other products) German engineering is so good. They know how to produce hard and sharp blades.

Get curved blades, they cost a little more and make for incredible trimming. The shape is perfect for cutting out leaves.

I prefer the spring loaded grip. Makes for speedier trimming without suffering on quality.
