depends where you live.. in the midwest/or any part of the northern hemisphere, its recommended to wait until after memorial day weekend because up to that point you can still get nights cold enough to frost.. plants dont like frost.. i would suggest if you are in an area like that, veg indoors for a month or so and plant mid may or around there.. again all dependent on your area.. if you are more south i would think early as march/april..
