Hi there... had 2 previously unsuccessful DWC attempts... pesky root rot scuppered me! Am using Orca this time and so far so good. This is just a single plant grow.
This is day 24 from seed, with RQS Legendary OG. It was a VERY slow starter and sensitive to even a hint too much light. The second node leaves demonstrated a little asymmetry, and 5th node only started this past couple days. I have very limited experience and I've never seen anything like this - not sure if good or bad. Each node is sending out 3 leaf sets as opposed to the usual 2! I wasn't sure if it was limited to the 4th node, but as you can see, the 5th node is growing with the same triple leaf pattern. Are mutations like this a good or bad sign? Or is it a case of grow it and see? Am likely to top the 5th node tomorrow if it's a keeper.
Also, leaves have been a rich green until today, and she's definitely going a little lime-coloured. Currently 520ppm with 1:1:1 Flora Grow/Bloom/Micro, 0.5ml/l liquid silicon, 4ml/l Rhizotonic and 1ml/l diamond nectar. Is it time to up the base nutrient strength a little? And if so, should I stick to 1:1:1 at this early stage? Or should I add a little extra micro/grow and leave the bloom? Will be doing the first full res change on Friday (am away at the moment and the wife is doing mainteance til I'm back).
Good advice greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
Setup: 45l res (20l in tank, 3" air gap), 130mm net pot, Mars Hydro TSW 2000 (currently 18" above at 25% power), 25w Hailea pump, a heater and humidifier.
Temps: 18.9 - 20.5c in the res, 24c in the room, RH 60%. 24/0 schedule. pH 5.5-6.1, adjusted every 2-3 days (tends to rise rather than drop).
