hey whats up im a new grower.... ive had my female clone (Power Plant) for about 2 months in veg and im using a 125w CFL 6400k daylight. shes been on a 24/0 and i just switched to 12/12 yesterday (5/17).

I just want to know if she will bud with this light and about how long will it take?

any tips welcome!! im low on cash so cheap tips are appreciated lol thx!

Hello and welcome to the RIU! From what I understand PPP flowers for 8-9 weeks with a potential for high yields and a high trichome production. To awnser your question, yes she will flower once put under 12/12 lighting, but your gonna need more light if you want good results. Can you explain your set-up a little more?

thats been vegging for two months bro? thats incredibly small for the amount of time. i would have suggested laying your bulb on its side for optimal light and put it much closer to your plant. and a daylight bulb will not flower your bud, you'll need the CFL's with a more reddish hue, the more standard kind like 2700k or something. lol yea i was cheap too and had to rack a couple from my hardware store, but staying around 125w is enough for one plant. maybe add a reflector for more light inside your bucket, and look up LST training for some useful hints on yield. as far as the flowering period goes indoors, i'd say another 2 months. another hint would be to take a clone off this plant and keep in in veg while you flower the other, this way you dont have to buy one from a friend or from seed.

Word! thanks for the tips... yeah its my first time growing so i think i stressed it out but... and i dont think ill take a clone from this one maybe the next time around but im gonna get another clone from the dispencery of some diff shit and maybe the next time will be bigger and better!! but im learning ALOT from this grow! the bud i grow will only get better lol

you need more light get 4 3000k 26 watt cfl's and add them to the light you have.a reflector of some sort would help put the light on the plant better.2 months under a 400w mh and the plant would be 3ft tall right now.i would look at the trics with a microscope at 8 weeks and start flushing as soon as you see a few ambers.this is what i use some radio shack's carry these too.http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Zoom-Mini-Pocket-Led-Light-Microscope-Magnifier-/370369245186?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Pocket_Watches&hash=item563bba3002
