Trouble for Online Talk?

So i was told that a nutrient company can get in trouble for talking about medical marijuana on a social network. How much truth is behind this? Also I am in the US if that makes a difference.

Growing marijuana is illegal under federal law (I'd say right up their with meth manufacture but then again meth is Schedule II not I like marijuana.) Openly helping people use a product you sell to commit a federal crime is dumb as hell.

Then why does AN do it? Im just saying if a nutrient company is willing to help out with the info on the side they should do it in the open. Its for medical use so why not help a patient out?

i'm pretty sure that an is not located in the us, and don't worry, they were facing a lot of hydro stores boycotting their products simply for the fact that they do openly support marijuana growing, in cali no less..

good thing in so cal they have super stores w/ everything you need to grow. almost every product on the market. <3 from germ kits to cure racks

i think we can all agree that yes, it should still apply dark, but the reality of such things are very different these days, very sad indeed..

As long as there are federal laws prohibiting mj and making it illegal - thats what it will be . Isn't conspiricy talking about doing illegal things and planning them , even if they don't happen ? You grow up and are taught right ways and then find out that the liars can do things that are wrong and not only get away with them but they become successful doing things that hurt people , then you find out that they are the types who are leading your country . All the rights we have become obscured and made to be non existant when they dont serve the purposes of those in power .

by most of the logic being passed around here, A nute company would only be able to target MMJ growers in legal states, and everywhere else they would have to only air ads containing no MMJ references. A virtual impossibility considering the different printed publications that the would advertise in.

but then again it should be considered freedom of the press. Same way we can get the anarchist cookbook and things like that.

Nope, federal law trumps state law and under federal law marijuana is 100% illegal except for a select few researchers and those few remaining people who got into the federal government's short lived medical marijuana program (you can bet your ass the drug czar is waiting on pins and needles for them to die so the program can be buried.)

No, freedom of speech covers expression however it does not cover facilitating a federal crime. Realize that offering instructions or advice on growing marijuana with a product while also selling that product, is just as illegal as selling a firearm and instructing people on making a silencer for it.

Psylocybe Fanaticus is an acceptable example of this. Anyone who is interested in shrooms is probably aware of PF's tek but you may not be aware that they were busted for writing it (and sending it with packages of spores, which is monumentally stupid.) Writing the tek, on its own is not illegal, but writing the tek while selling products that can be used in the tek demonstrates that you both know and accept that your products are being used to break federal law.

federal law does not trump state law, so many people keep getting that shit confused, states are sovereign, tiny countries all to themselves. the government was only supposed to make sure the states dont take away your god given rights, not tell the states what to do. the states only follow gov mandate now, because of all the money they (the gov) give them.
take away the money, and they have 0 power.

I would have thought a defense would be that they were showing how a person can grow ANY type of mushroom from spores. If they picked a hallucinogenic variety, the authors will not be held responsible.
