Trouble with plants outside

Hey guys. Ive been at this for a couple years, seen a few problems here and there. This year its gnats.
I discovered a week ago my tops yellowing and ive been giving regular weekly feedings of nutes. so investigated closer and discovered these flying ant looking things all over my plants. Ive treated the soil with DE and sand but at this points that all i can do. I have also set up traps of vinegar, dish soap, sugar, and water. The plants seem like they might have a chance.
My concern is flowering is weeks away , im in ontario . All growth has stunted. Im not sure if i have handled the gnat issue in the soil or not. getting worried more by the day. How can i bring growth back if i did kill the gnats. I intend to feed again in a few days just staying on the regular schedule.

edit- heres a few pics ill be watching this post so if i left any info out let me know. Thanks in advance I greatly appreciate any input.

How did you treat for gnats? I’m assuming these were fungus gnats. Are these in containers and if they are what medium they’re in.

I treated the soil with DE (Diatomaceous earth) and also made traps for the adults using vinegar and soap in a dish.
There is a few in pots (the white widow is potted) using topsoil medium nothing fancy.
And the second pic is my afghan kush x skunk in the ground using same type of topsoil mixture with native soil.
All have been doing great up until growth stunted. id say about two weeks of growth loss. i have a pic the "gnat" as well ill upload soon

Have you fed recently? Seems odd that container plants and plants in the ground sharing an issue of growth. I have to suspect root issues including from ongoing insect damage.

I fed about 4-5 days ago. Theres also ants doing there thing in there
and incase of confusion the pots and the ground plant are right beside each other. Ihave other plants far away from these ones all in pots and zero issues.
Today i went to look at my sick ones and noticed a small swarm of really tiny tiny flying bugs im going to assume are the younger generation of gnats that were bred in my soil?

Ok i was about to ask if these were gnats. I also found some other bugd crawling the drainage holes of my pots. Im losing my girls the yellowing has worsened to death of new growth.
Is it too late or should i transplant to new soil? I bought a bag of 3 way mix and im hoping to get DE all in the bottom and all through it . I just wanna bring it back in time for flower

Is it me or are there black lines on the wings?
no, not just you i see it as well. these particular things have distinct black line patterns on the wings and I often see them on top of each other on a leaf of the plant. looks like they're banging

i've been ruling out deficiencies due the fact i feed them regularly. if you notice the other leaves are healthy green. but you might be correct im just wondering where the deficiency is coming from .

I just looked into iron deficiency and its almost bang on. and ill go have a look at the back of the leaves. im assuming you mean the back of the healthy leaves. ill check both yellow and healthy.

How can I begin treating the iron issue so i can get back from stunt.

nothing appears strange on the backs of the leaves, colours the same as the front. its dark outside. if your refering to black spots i dont see any.
