I just realized that I posted in the wrong place.. now Im in the right place..

Hey guys.. outdoor grow on Long Island..

all has been going well... we've had a hot one this year.. couple of BLASTING heat days.. with very little natural rain.

That being said, I think Ive kept up on the watering. Using Alaska's Fish Fertilizer (5-1-1) every three weeks.

But the past two weeks, Ive seen a huge increase in yellow and dying leaves.. too much sun/heat? not enough water? Just dont know. A buddy of mine says she needs a bigger pot -- which I dont disagree with -- but is that the cause of this?

Please help me out!

Bigger pot it needs for sure.

I know when a plant gets pretty big its leaves that dont get enough light die off. which appears to be happening. If not give it some nutes and see how it responds in a few days

its on the back deck, so I think its just getting blasted with sun -- but Ill give it more N and move into a bigger pot...

can it get TOO much sun? is that even possible?

I've refereed to it several times. Looks like it's possible that it's nutes Nitrogen or sulpher deficiency maybe.

Also like money said ^ it's natural for the leaves lower on the canopy to fall off. From what I know this happens closer to flowering if this is the case for you it might not be a good idea to add nitrogen.
As far as the sun, you can't get too much of it, heat is the limiting factor. :joint:

plants love sunlight you can never have too much of it you could however get heat stress if its extremely hot in your area.
