troubleshoot help : GH Waterfarm 8pk Controller unit

Hello

I just got a used Waterfarm system, 8 buckets w/ 13+8 controller unit also the original airpump from GH.
I cleaned the whole system up as the other owner left it pretty scaled.

So I dont think none of the drip rings and airhose's are clogged, plus i checked em a bunch of times, blowing chest air into the lines and getting water pressure.

So my problem is with the rate of drips on each individual unit. Some dont drip at all and maybe two of eight are slowly dripping. Cant this be a faulty air pump or maybe a air pressure screw I can adjust on the air pump? (i dont know if it has one)
Another thing i was considering is that the pumping column's need to be installed in a specific setup for it to work?
im just doing a dry run, just water no plants or media, so if anyone uses a GenHydro Water farm controller unit and can give me some tips on getting a more sturdy rate of water dripping from the indiv. units. please respond or PM me.
Ive been searching for a few hours on a troubleshoot but its all just junk about installing the upgrade kit which I have no problem doing.

IMO these systems are not giving a good first impression.

You could have one problem or several. I would assume you have them all and correct every possibility considering the system is used. There could be crusty stuff at the point the air hose joins the bubble column or everywhere.Also at the beginning there may have been dried bacteria or algae that when hydrated made a come back filling the tubes and drip rings with slime. It doesn't matter how good it looks or how much water appears to be coming through unless you push something through EVERY tube you will never know if it really is clean. You can find pipe cleaners around places...?? I just push very little paper towel through using a straightened clothing hanger. Just enough to push through and touch the inside. Too much can get stuck and you will never get it out. When the holes are drilled into the drip rings the inside is left with little burrs that can grab stuff from the water and then build up. Covering the top of every pot is always a good idea to reduce buildups. You may very well have a weak air pump. As long as the hoses are the same length and height the position of the pump should not matter.Some air pumps have an air intake with a piece of cloth as a filter. It is better to replace the cloth piece than try to clean it.It may also have replaceable parts on the inside , diaphragms etc. "F" it replace the whole pump and lines if its in the budget.At the bottom of the air column the hole where the water is sucked up may have a rock in it or at the top "T" where the drip ring is connected. It was my right of passage to have every problem with every system I have ever used. I hope to relieve your burden.

I just don't get it , I go down theyre hours at a time makig small adjust ments trying to get it towork, Ill get maybe two working then those two will stop and Ill get another two going but never all 8.Maybe the pump is broken and aint giving enough air pressure.\ I cleaned the fuck out of it, even have new air line, So im about 85% sure that buildup isn't the issue Well il bring my pump into the hydro store and see if dude can see anything wrong with it, til then if anyone else can chime in , I like to read lol

the original airpump from Gh is a POS! LOL! that's the first thing you toss when you get a waterfarm kit, along with the chit nutes it comes with. what I swear by and use for my own set up is the GH dual diaphragm air pump. it totally kicks ass...I think you will need 2 of them AT LEAST. having airstones in all your bottom buckets is a necessity ImO. So I think you should invest in 4 dual diaphragm airpums. Sweet! mybe they make a bigger one with 8 airlines instead of 4.good luck .I am looking forward to some money shots.lol

ya I have a dual diaphragm w/ 4 outlets, I even hooked up my single outlet pump to just one resivior and it still wasnt enough air pressure to bring water up to the drip ring, Im calling GH tomorrow with a mouth ful. This system is a POS and I might just scrap it for single WF's or resell the whole fucking thing, I know why now I used to make all my own systems and from here forward will continue to do so.

im just gonna make each one into a personal waterfarm, I dont have the money right now to be buying better air pumps, thats all i can think is that the air pump is busted,,
