Plants are looking great and nice grab on the MH. Shouldn't be too hard to rewire - turn off your power and then untwist the wire nuts and separate the ballast. Make sure to replace the wire nuts to the hot leads afterward. Then just strip an extension cord and wire back up.

Well if you say so....Here is the update. I dunno what got into me yesterday, but I passed out waaaaay early Just got tired of reading so much Lol. Anyway, Cinderella was nute burned a little last week...you might can tell from the pictures that she was starting to yellow. It got worse, but since I caught it at my last update, she's starting to look much better. For the past week she has seen nothing but water, and next water I will give her some superthrive. I'm hoping she'll be done in a week or so since some of her pistols are already turning. Still no large trichs or anything, could be a number of reasons. After this superthrive feeding I'll give her nothing but water. The only reason I'm giving her superthrive is just because of the crazy effects I saw last night. 5 drops in a gallon and I barely fed 2 of my girls and they stood straight up. I swear they were droopy, but I just fed them 2 days ago and the soil was cool so I figured they were still moist. Anyway I sat down rolled a blunt, lit it up and looked over, and my mouth about hit the floor! I've never seen these bitches perk up in 10 mins O.O

I was going to get some bloom nutes this week, but there aren't any nutes I saw that would even work for what I'm looking for. So it'll just be the same 3-1-2 MG nutes untill I am able to buy some others.

I topped #6 yesterday because she was just getting waaaaaay too crazy. she's got about 20 different popcorn sites, but all of them looked pathetic with just 5-10 hairs each...So I'm hoping with the top she'll work on those little buds for me. Also I topped the lowest bud on the 75/25 just to see how she reacts.

So I ran a cord from the ballast to the wall, and nothing happened I heard some clicking coming from it but that was about it. Bad ballast? or bad wiring? I connected the white together and then connected the darker one with black and the green one with red from the ballast.

You can get 100 W HPS bulbs from ace hardware that fit into normal sockets.

No ballast needed i believe.

I have read that tin foil "can be" a bust for light retention/reflection b/c of the folds in the foil it can "intensify the light" to the point that it possibly could burn a whole in your baby. Not sure how many people have had if any troubles with foil other than random postings I have read. GL and keep learning..Rep'n ya for the journal postings

yeah man I did away with the foil a loooooong time ago, I have some mylar in the veg box right now but that might come out soon. Appreciate it, +rep to you too!

I know mylar can be rather expensive...a another healthy alternative is a "flat white" coat of paint. Should you ever find yourself w/o mylar some day lol but i'm sure you probably already knew all of this already. thx and tokes for rep \m/

I'm serious about those bulbs bro, they are the size of a normal light bulb but have enough intensity to give your plants what they need. i will get a thread going so i can show you what i got in the mix and show you those bulbs if you would like. i'm not angry... I just looked into some of those bulbs. Couldn't find any at Ace Hardware, but there are some other places online with 100w HPS Bulbs. All appear to have regular socket size, but as I read the description it seed you needed a mogul base. Didn't check into ballasts or anykind of mogul base fixtures.

Update time!

So last night I was in the flowering cab after smoking a blunt, and starting deciding how I could change it to make it better I've decided with the strains I have going now I no longer want to LST them. Atleast not the parts that have any kind of growth.

Reason #1: I feel like in order to receive maximum capacity and proper light spread, I need the plants to grow straight through the center of the cups. (Not from the side of the cup where they are trained too.

Reason #2: It just seems like I could get a much higher yield from big, thick Colas rather than bunches of pop corn buds.

In my re-arranging the other day I was attempting to Supercrop one of my 12/12 from seeds.....I failed and ended up topping that plant and throwing another clone in soil. Also I through the remaining part of the plant into the veg cab and I'm gonna let her re-veg again.
