So I was thinking about getting the TLO starter pack and had a question as to what the hell a spike is. Lol is that like top dressing?

TLO starter pack?! Interesting. Do your spikes at time of transplant and place them at a distance from the roots and main stem to avoid frying your plants.

the starter pack will come with pre mixed ammendments each one different. and you will use spikes in dirt where you know no roots are so basicly just do them when you transplant. I was going to get that starter pack but I just ended up buying the 2.1 and the manure blend. then I bought all the other amendments the TLO calls for and made my own spikes and teas. then you can start cooking your 2.1 batch while you are growing with the bought and ready 2.1 mix. you might want to buy the mellow mix also for clones and seedlings. TLO is defenitley tedious but it is definitely worth it. all my friends say I "get the tastiest staankiest bud ever. where do you get it?" and I just laugh and say "not telling"

if you choose to go this way you will also want to start a worm farm asap..... I spent 200$ on castings till I started my farm.
