Trump gag order appeal dismissed by New York’s top court
New York’s highest court on Tuesday dismissed former President Donald Trump’s appeal of the gag order in his criminal hush money trial.
The New York Court of Appeals in a brief decision declined to hear Trump’s bid “upon the ground that no substantial constitutional question is directly involved.”

The decision means Trump’s gag order, which bars him from speaking about jurors, witnesses and other parties involved in the Manhattan Supreme Court case, remains in effect.

Trump’s attorneys have also asked Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the trial, to terminate the gag order because the trial is over.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s office, however, urged Merchan to keep the restrictions in place, at least until after a sentencing hearing is held and certain post-trial motions are resolved.

BREAKING: The New York Times drops a bombshell and reveals that MAGA Judge Aileen Cannon rejected suggestions from at least two senior judges to pass Donald Trump's classified documents case to another judge.

And it gets even worse...

Cannon was told by the judges, one of whom was the chief justice of her district, that she should not stay on the case — wise advice given the blatant conflict of interest involved. Cannon, ever the loyal Trump minion, refused to do so.

In fact, Chief justice for the Southern District of Florida, Cecilia Altanoga approached Cannon on MULTIPLE occasions and urged her to step away from the case.

When Cannon rebuffed the suggestions, Altanoga said that it would be "bad optics" for her to remain on the case after she made a shockingly pro-Trump ruling in a separate, related lawsuit connected to the federal raid on Mar-a-Lago.

Again, Cannon refused to heed the prudent suggestion.

The simplest explanation is that Cannon chose to remain on the case so she could serve as a loyal foot soldier for Trump — giving him corrupt preferential treatment as thanks for appointing her to the bench.

Because the fix is in.
The hush money case is Donald’s public humiliation for all of the shit he’s pulled, it’s his punishment from the other elites.
They’re putting the breaks on all of the others cases until the election though.
Which means he’s gonna get off Scott free.
He was always going to be protected because he’s a former president.
Now we can see how far they are willing to go to with that protection and it looks to be all the way back to the White House.

I’m giving Biden the edge. Convict and his horde of loyalists are making ever bigger or fools of themselves on the news. They’re not attracting as many new base as they are repelling former base.

The wild card imo is the just-beginning flood of trolls and bots spreading disinformation made in China or Russia in a possibly effective bid to affect the coming election.

I wish I could see another path on the horizon but I do not.

As for his sentencing, I predict about 12-18 months of house arrest, with a generous hall pass for campaign events.

I’m seeing 2016 repeat itself with slightly different players but the exact same plot.
