That was Senator Robert Byrd, right? He had a perfect rating with the NAACP? I did not know that.

yep. he disavowed the klan and changed his ways. racism is learned, so of course it can be unlearned. byrd is a perfect example of that. his is a story of redemption and changing for the better.

and for some reason, that kind of thing really pisses off racist right wingers! i believe they call him a "race traitor".

I've noticed that most right wingers never question their sources, or are they encouraged to. They might accidentally learn to think for themselves, at which point they may well stop being racist right wingnuts altogether.

I always thought the same thing...bias was learned but after seeing this 60 minutes episode I'm convinced bias can be learned in the womb or learn bias right out of the womb check out 7:00 minutes into the experiment.

Very interesting, and exactly the opposite of what I've always thought. At it's most basic level though, the study basically says that bigots never mature or evolve. Which actually seems to relate to other studies that I've read which tie bigotry, racism, and yes conservatism to lower IQ's.

You are right. This is the good part too. I am no longer stressing about the outcome so I am going to relax and have a good time. I think I will make up some alternative TRUMP! signs for the cornfields to accompany the "Jail Hillary" signs.

Exactly. It's just fun now. Even more fun though, will be watching those supporters who he's baiting into feeling "cheated".
