Naw, Donald would leave everybody holding the bag, the kids would just quickly book flights to Europe. I wonder what Bill Barr and Pence would do? Shit bricks along with Moscow Mitch is my guess! GOP senators and congressmen would be freaking out and the party would explode into a dozen pieces. Wearing a MAGA hat would be an invitation to get brained with a baseball bat in most of America. All in all it wouldn't be too bad a scenario, maybe Vlad will ship Donald back after a year or so...

He'd better leave while he can and that means AF1 and before the inauguration or an impeachment conviction, whichever comes first. If he's impeached and Pence/Barr take over, he might have time to go, but then again they would be left holding the bag, so maybe not. I believe running to Moscow is the only way he's gonna stay outta jail and save face by claiming a deep state coup if he's impeached, or a rigged election if he is defeated in 2020. The bible will still be warm from the hand of next democratic president, when the cuffs go on Donald's tiny wrists, if he's around. In any case I don't figure on an orderly transition of power, it will be a fiasco, like his presidency.

I find it astounding that such a large majority of white Americans still think the sun shines outta Donald's ass. Jesus Christ, how the fuck can people filter reality to the point where they think Trump is normal and fit for office, where it's OK for the POTUS to collude with a hostile power to get elected and violate the law and constitution. Hate and bigotry make people blind and stupid, I just never realized how much and how badly they would be willing to fuck themselves because of it.

AP, Reuters, CSPAN, NYT and Washington Post are my go to sources to make sure what I am reading is verified. Pier reviewed journals are also a great source for information, but a bit hard to understand with a quick read.
The cable news, you need to make sure you are not watching a 'entertainment' show like Hannity (where they have argued in court they can lie because they are not actual news). On Fox, Shep Smith, Chris Wallace are the only two that have any credibility. CNN is more news than Fox, but still has a lot of opinion. MSNBC is kind of the anti-president channel in the morning, they were not easy on Obama, and are now against Trump, basically covering any negative story about either party.
Anyone of them can get it wrong, but it seemed hard to not report what a high level white house official was 'leaking', until it was shown how Sarah Huckabee Sanders would just flat out lie to the public in the name of the POTUS in the Mueller report. They have no more credibility. They still have to cover Trump's constant rambling lies, because it is still history, but he lies so much you can't believe anything he says.

Again, you're ignorant to what happens. Sure, she can push for it. It will go to the Senate for trial, Moscow Mitch and the boys will totally acquit Trump on all charges and he'll walk away Scot Free.

You can stop being ignorant, learn about how the government actually works and find out that if Trump doesn't win re-election, he can then be federally charged for each and every crime he committed while in office and spend the remainder of his life in jail.
So it's your call: Let Trump go by being an ignoramus and pushing for an impeachment that will actually set Trump free, or be patient and see to it that he gets charged when he loses the election.

I think Nancy has a plan and it's to move everything closer to the election and while yer waiting, the courts are coming on side and Donald is digging himself a deeper grave. Come fall when summer vacation is over and they get rolling you'll see the full inherent powers of the house come into play, if the courts don't jail witnesses first. Once the Damn bursts other witnesses will testify publicly, we'll have a replay of the Mueller report plus a lot more with dramatic public testimony.
They will want a several slam dunk impeachment cases against Donald as close to the election as they can, if the GOP senate are going to acquit him in a very public trial of the century they will pay the maximum political price for it, the American public is on the jury too. This is all about winning the senate in 2020 and a clean sweep out of office for the GOP, it's the only way America can recover.
If you think Donald is crazy now just wait until the heat gets cranked up and he has to distract and defect from the hearings and public testimony.

It's actually far simpler than that:
- If he loses the election, they can put him in jail and ruin him for the rest of his life. This is her plan A and what she (and most people with a brain) want to see happen.
- If he wins the election, she can then hope that the Democrats won at least an even stake or a majority in the Senate. Either way, she can then launch impeachment proceedings that will dominate pretty much the entirety of whatever failure of an administration Trump has left.
Push impeachment now, Trump wins and walks away free.
That's all there is to it.

If she doesn’t push for it I’m done with the Democrats. I already ditched any thought of ever voting for another Republican ever. But I do admire their cohesiveness even if what their goals are suck. They get shit done one way or the other. In fact they’re so tight and have been that I’m surprised any at all speak out against him. I’ll try and get my ass kicked before I lay down. I hate chickenshits. Especially when NO physical harm is involved. Just an elected office people contributed to an election for. The worst that can happen is you go home at least until the next election. Read up on Katy Porter’s stance on this. Talk about an endangered Democratic seat. She’s got the brains and the guts.
