I'm not saying don't revel in the thought of Trump having to go down to Pennsylvania Avenue and self-pityingly whine to passersby. Lord knows, I'm enjoying it - especially knowing this catch-and-cancel game is keeping Trump from doing any damage to anything important.

But the second half of the site's announcement reminded us of the seriousness of the action. It notes correctly that the Domestic Terrorists Trump has inspired are openly discussing a SECOND attempted coup: violence, insurrection - who knows what - centered around the Inauguration. Much of the early talk was about January 19. Twitter now says it may be the 17th.

Nancy Pelosi's move to impeach Trump again (and thus set an unbreakable record, like Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak) is correct, but too slow. There is just one Article of Impeachment and it could easily pass through the House in a matter of hours and does not need to wait until Monday. This is a national emergency. A second "Coup Klux Klan" looms. And we need it addressed by removing Trump as surely as Twitter has.
