Well the really smart guys I talked with at work had numerous patents. The one Jewish fellow I visited frequently had 2 Goddard kids. The youngest was 3. 3 kids total. The oldest,11 was a concert pianist. Last time I talked to him he was 16 going to uc. Wild kid. But chances are we ran in different circles. It is what it is. you see really smart people don't waste their time. Only people like Elon musk who isn't really smart but he knows how to hire smart people.

I had an instructor that was a materials application engineer for general electric. He had over 70 patents. We called him sweater guy. He was wild. He used to smoke a pipe. Then this black engineer from New Orleans I had the pleasure of working with for 6 months installing a programmable gate array. A "hardware" plc. It was programmable like a plc kinda. Instead of ladder it was Boolean. Plc's are slow for the process we were building. Pga's actually turn Boolean into gates. So the "ladder is solved at light speed. No scan time. He made some wild food and brought it in to celebrate the project. People like that are different. I don't drink. I smoke for arthritis. We probably run in different circles. These guys are not wild.
