Try To Flower Early Outdoor

I don’t think my plants will flower for a bit. Last year it was early August. The weather started to go to shite pretty early in Sept last year, so I was thinking about trying to flower early this time. They are outdoor in fabric pots currently. Basically I’d keep em on a trailer and put in garage for night, then back out to direct sun for 12, thereby starting flower early by a couple weeks. Sorry if this is remedial, but I’ve only read of the opposite, like out to a greenhouse early with supplemental light until days are long enough for veg. Any thoughts are appreciated.

You know putting them on a trailer isn't a bad idea if you have a garage to put the trailer in for light deprivation. You could even put some lights in the garage and finish them off in there if the weather goes bad.

Interesting plan. I say go for it.

Nice, I’m glad that idea has at least some merit. I just thought though, I better get some airflow in there at night or I’m going to have issues.

There is a thread on here somewhere that a fellow did exactly that. I thought it was a great idea. He had them on a wagon and just pulled it in and out of a barn.

Awesome! Thanks for the post. Glad to hear that it worked out for you. Still debating it because my grow site is remote. May just make a hoop house for the wet fall weather, but I’m 100% exploring this in the future. Nice to see someone pull it off.
