yo very cool. i dig it a lot. whats something like that gonna run in price. i wouldnt mind having one for for weed not oil. maybe done in the dark and light blues. + rep man

That's the beauty of it, you can have one for weed *and* oil. :) It would just include an adapter glass on glass joint and a matching slide.

Ideally, I'd like to make oil rigs similar to what you see, with a matching dome/bowl/dish/dabber. From start to finish its about 6 hours. I'll probably just take offers on the bubblers once they are made. I figure depending on the amount of "work" in each one around $150-$300 for the whole set.

Great for the first bubbler i've seen, AND it's oil.. oohhh! :dunce:. Can't wait til you polish up your work like you have with your pipes!

I gave that pipe to my friend, he still loves it and shows people pictures when he doesn't have it :lol: . I hear "Damnnn thats a sweet pipe!" all the time ;)

Be proud of your work! ;) I know my buddy is proud of his pipe..

A few more..... The oil bubbler has been used like mad. I bet I've put 10g through it since making it. A little more polishing on the construction of the tabletop bubblers will make them very pretty pretty soon I hope. :-)

Thanks man, they are set to close today and be out the door. :) They just approved my account there a few days ago to sell. I listed 9 items and all are selling for more than pipe stores pay so it's a great place for pipe makers for sure. I wont list the tabletops there yet, they arent quite BM material.......yet :)

The one on the left is probably the best pipe ive ever seen... Simple, functional, and just really bad ass WELL done coloring...

It's incredible, zero jankiness. Not sure who's glass is looking the best these days, yours or fdd's :) a little competition these days eh :hump:

Thanks dude :) All of those three rainbow spoons/sherlocks sold today actually, the new owner of the big spoon is $30 poorer but a lot higher I hope. :)

fdd was my inspiration to start making glass. I am not better than him, we make very different work style-wise. I learn a lot from fdd every time I watch him make something on the video chat. Without him as inspiration and RIU folks picking up pipes here and there I wouldnt be making glass today.

After purchasing everything locally from a glass shop, the total came to $3200. Oops. Initially, figured about $2000, but after the glass guys showed me "what I need"....... I really bought a *lot* of glass though, grabbed sample color sticks and frit from every manufacturer, and a wild assortment of clear. All of the glass is borosilicate, which is the non-marketed term for Pyrex. Since the glass place is about an hour away, the goal was not to have to go back for a long time. Wouldnt you rather return it than have to drive an hour for it? :)

The torch, a Nortel Red Max, pre-mix torch. Downstairs outside chained to the wall is the Oxygen tank and Propane tanks with regulators and flashback arrestors.

Funky $145 glasses that filter out orange so you can see the glass "through" the flame.


This is the UV Glass. It's on the laptops keyboard and its dark so it glows bright green.


So fun. :)



.....after about 5 hours, I blew my first pipe. Anyone wanna guess how bad it looks?!? Any tips/comments welcome!!

Well, when you do get your equipment, be sure you stop by stickam and talk about what you buy first. :) :) Lots of money can be wasted on shit you dont need at first, especially with glass! =) When your ready to get started and cam up with a torch let me know, I'll send you a 1lb pull of color tube made by me so you can try wigwags and have some fun, on the house. :)
