Trying to reason with hurricane season.

As the title says. I need some advise for if hurricane Danny knocks my power out. I have 10 plants in veg right now and coming along nicely. I was wondering that, if it knocks my power out, could I just take the pots and put them outside on some of our property until it comes back on? Where I live, it's incredibly humid and hot so I'm sure it will stunt them but I'm wondering if I should even bother? Anyone ever deal with this before?


Edit: i have 100 acres of thick forest. I'm not concerned about anyone spotting them as much as about critters and heat.

im a noob and i live in Co. but i know of a bunch of guys who grow indoors but when its sunny use the power of the sun(free and way stronger). i think ur only concern would be preping them for the intense light. im thinking u have to gradually build them up to full sun. like i said im a noob so im sure some other can give more in depth advice. happy growing bruh and enjoy the hurricane(just left FL and i love hurricanes!....minus the destruction) peace

OP you could probably clear out 1/8th acre of trees and make a greenhouse and be fine,

And you could probably make a few of those greenhouses on your property and be fine

I don't think I have the balls to have enough product to need multiple green houses. Lol.

Hurricanes are bad enough, but the lasting effects of flooding and power outages stick around, sometimes for weeks.

A generator and some CFL bulbs would be ideal. Failing that, putting them outside in the forest in light shade to harden off to sunlight is a great alternative. Buy plenty of insect killer...

Do you have a personal recommendation for insect killer? Preferably something organic and local?

Depends on the local brand of leaf eaters. I have suggestions for a mile high and seriously dry- but that's not going to help you, necessarily. Ask around about organic stuff to kill bugs eating your tomatoes.
