I think 3000K 90CRI is the best phosphor spectrum.
Trying to remember what PPFD is the most plants can handle in veg and flower

I had always heard that 3500K was the best for veg and flower...but I've also looked at the spectrums and it doesn't look like it matters that much. So 3000K 90CRI will do the job well for both?

I use it for both, does well. You're right in that it doesn't matter that much. 3500K will be a little more efficient. Lower CRI will be more efficient. So much so that 3000K 70CRI has about 10% more PAR than 3000K 90CRI, but because 90CRI is a better flowering spectrum they end up with similar yield. 90CRI will finish a few days earlier and has the best 680-700nm levels. 3500K 90CRI would be fine too, but more lower frequency light than necessary IMO. 3000/90 does fantastic in veg.
