Hi recently purchased tsw2000 mars hydro light wanted to mount the drivers on top of the grow tent . It has long enough cable to reach outside the tent but wondering what I would have to mount the drivers on have never done this before feedback appreciated thanks ,first indoor setup !!

Just a nut and bolt drill a hole in the fabric and mount it. I would just screw it to a piece of plywood then place it on top.instead. they have holes to mount it. You could use double sided tape as well. My concern with directly to the fabric the risk of melting the tent or a fire. Wood would be better or a wall

A sheet of 3/8" +/- 1/8" aluminum about twice the area of the drivers would be nice, dissipate some of the heat. But I'm not an expert. There are some guys around here that probably even have better suggestions. The LED geeks should show up after midnight. I have to build remote driver mounting plate too but I have a room, not a tent, so mine will just bolt to the wall outside the room enclosed partially in a sheet metal case with vents on the sides. I'll post a pix if I get it done soon.

Ghetto fix would be a few zip ties to secure them to whatever is handy.
A more secure solution would be like Moldy suggested.
I used a 1/4" thick composite panel to mount my drivers and switching.

At first I thought it would be smart to install the driver remotely out of my tent, then I realized I actually needed the heat. I put my exhaust on the bottom of my tent and the passive intake on the top, so the heat from the LEDS gets pulled through the canopy
The plants love the extra heat with LEDS~ I try to keep it above 75, and maxxed out at 85. It rarely gets up to 80 though during the spring. If heat was an issue for you, I would then consider moving the driver but you most likely will benefit from that heat.

I have all mine screwed into the rafters above the tent. I have a fan mounted at one end of the row for cooling.
The heat from them would be beneficial for flower, but I didn't want that extra stress on the drivers. Run at full power theyre already hot enough you can barely touch them.

I'd just screw it to a piece of plywood and throw it on top of the tent in your case.
