Tube Stands: Ideas, Designs, How To's

I am looking for a easy, cheap design to hold my new extra large tube. What do all you guys use, especially those of you who made their own. One of my physics buddies are going to make me a legit one but the dispensary wants my oil asap so wanted to get a couple ideas before hitting the hardware store.
 
How about a scientific grade cat litter bucket and a wooden clamp?

I think "sweets N the Nude" carry those fancy stands.

the coffee filter at the end of the tube also prevents blow backs/outs (weed shooting back out the top of the tube after you release the pressure of the can.)

very very very nice stuff, the stand and the oil. thats a big run... damn your butane looks golden and potent... my tiny ass runs are nowhere near that foamy or thick and gold. ive usually got about 2 grams of oil per can of tane used!!! :(
 
i have moments with 2 grams of oil per can..
check out these numbers from the very last run though.


816 grams trim in (29.1 ounces)

i packed my tube TIGHT(the one pictured), only used 4 tubes worth :]

anddddddddddddddddddddd ONLY 16 cans of tane.

thats nearly 2 ounces per can.

yield. TBD. over 100 grams though, since the small 100 grams scales weve measured on keep trippin..

7+ grams of oil per can o tane :]
 
I really like your setup Guzias!! I wish I had a shop/garage area that I can be a mad scientist in, instead of fighting with my lady about where I'm going to put all my extraction shit. Lord knows she doesn't fucking complain about smoking it though lol ;)

god damn women eh.... if it fucks, flies, or floats you shoulda just rented it!!! let that one be a lesson for the youngins here!

also, if it has tits or tires, it WILL give you problems!!!
 
hahaha reminds me of something I heard the day... rumor has it that in calgary, ab. it is STILL LEGAL to shoot a full blooded indian from the cover of a horse drawn wagon with a musket loaded rifle... kinda cool lol.
 
Wow pretty bad lol so I live in an old mining town and we def have our share of weird, old laws. My personal favorite is back in the day, there was a huge problem with how many prostitutes there were, so they made prostitution legal but only to the west of this old ass hotel and only to the river. Well when they put in the freeway they put it in this location and by this time prostitution was illegal, but there is still a little alley way in the "prostitute zone" so the smart prostitutes (oxymoronic I know) would simply do their business in the alleyway because of the "zone" loophole.
 
hahaha thats crazy. some laws are so fucking stupid who ever came up with should have their heads banged together.
