How many Indicas can/should I grow using a Turbogarden in a HomeBox L? What size pots? 6" or the square 5"x5" that come with the system. Ebb & Flow. I have done much research but would like some input from the pros. Using a 400W setup, euro hood.

Or should I attempt a SOG with the Turbogarden? It fits 14 5x5's. Any feedback is welcome. Thank you.

Thanks man. I am new to gardening and truly appreciate your feedback. The hydro shop recommended rockwool cubes (4 inch) with clay pellets. What do you think? This will be my first attempt. So far I have calculated that I will spend about 1400 dollars (u.s.) to get all that I need from a GrowLab 120, 600w lamp, can charcoal filter, vortex fans and turbogarden ebb n flow kit. If you have any suggestions on any modification to the set up please let me know. I will place my order for the equipment by the end of march.

Another Question. Should I use "NET" pots or "REGULAR" pots for the EBB & FLOW? Any responses will/are greatly appreciated.

Your setup is exactly what I'm starting up (freaky)

Check out BHhydro.com as they have the GrowLabs available for purchase with all the fittings and filters included. Also as for the TurboGarden I'm going to use the square pots that came with the system but to avoid shadowing the most I'll use is 10 probably less.

Shit, that is pretty freaky. Good luck with your stuff man. Hey do you know if the grow lab is the same quality as the homebox? I have read many positive things about the homebox on this site. I do like all the venting options and shit from the growlab though. If I go with the homebox, I think I will rock the homebox XL. I better make up my mind soon because I will make my purchases in about 30 days. I will start off with tomatoes and chili plants for a couple of months until I get used to the turbogarden and nute regiments,etc.....Then when I feel comfortable with my ability I'll rock out the "plants".

I go from EZ CLoner staright to Hydroton in 5 inch round netpots. I bought the lid to the Turbogarden so the pots would be suspended above the flood pan a little bit. The rockwool will hold extra water and will not be able to be watered as often. I may end up using rockwool at some point, but I am trying to do it without it. Everyone seems to have their own way. The Homebox works great for me, I hope we can all learn from each other. If you have planned it will take $1400, then take $2500 to the grow store with you. Definitely Dont forget good meters. What type of fertilizer are you planning on using?

Awesome, thank you. You are a hundred percent accurate about taking extra money to the store because originally I planned a low budget closet setup with soil but the more I looked around the more I realized that I might as well invest in something I can grow into not out of. I walked in with 600 bucks and walked out with ideas and a new budget outline, lol. I am going to look into that lid you speak of because one of my concerns is the roots coming out of the pots and just hanging out on the tray itself with lights shining down on them. Thank you for your feedback, I very much appreciate it.
