Lets talk long term storage in varying amounts. Long before there were boveda humidity packs or even vaccum seal, we had ziploc storage bags. One bag might be iffy so maybe we used two to be sure it was airtight. And Mason Jars, they are the best, but 100 1 quart mason jars take up a lot of space. When vaccum bags and turkey bags came out, they became popular.
Besides the packaging, we learned one of the most important things is to keep the medicine OUT of the light. Light degrades cannabis faster than anything.
So the question and point of this thread is, how do you do it, and why? What led you to the methods you use today? Do you use humidity packs? Would you, for instance, vaccum seal a humidity pack with a lb or two for long term storage? How about airtight 5 gallon buckets?? Or large plastic tupperware?
Educate us, because so many are looking for these methods and answers, and your knowledge could help to save a lot of medicine from going bad, and maybe even help it get into the right hands to make a difference in someones life.
And, Begin please.
