I usually dont do this but sour bb is recommend to drop t emps to get the blue and purp to pop out. 57 degrees low temp with. 33% humidity. I have lots of air movement and i scrub the air. Does anyone think powdery mildew should be .a major concern at such low humidity and good air flow and ventilation ?

Brrrr, way too cold. These plants like the temperature about where we do; anything below 66F and I am turning on the heat for my grow.

If they’re going to turn they’ll turn without the need to drop temps like that.

My grow is in a cool basement. It will hover around the low 60's to the high 50's when the light goes out in winter. And I run the fans all night. Have the opposite issue in summer, too hot.
I also get purple. Deep purple.
It also takes longer. A week to 10 days longer to finish.

(I will use heaters in the deep winter, to keep things growing, and A/C in summer. But no heaters during flower.)

Haven't done it intentionally, but it's not unusual for a few of my outdoor girls to see below 50 overnight before they're done. First year growing outdoors produced the monster in my avatar. Didn't finish until this time of year and saw a few touches of frost. Definitely affected the terps and potency compared to its siblings. Bud rot is also a huge issue for my outdoor grows, cold weather aggravates that.

Drop to 65 and leave it there too low and you’ll slow metabolism to slow to finish properly. 65 and you’ll get the colour and size and potency your looking for
Thanks. In 15 years growing im trying it for first time. The hso says the purple and blue really come out in the cold so i want them
