Turning the lights off for a landlord inspection.

Hello everyone! I have a slight issue that I need your advice on, the way I see it there are only two answers.

My landlord is coming round for a 6 month inspection, he arrives around 7pm and will be here for no longer than 30 minutes.

My plants are only 2 weeks into budding, they are in a covert cupboard and smell has been taken care of. The only thing I need to do in order to be safe is to turn the lights off whilst he is here.

The lights normally turn off at 11pm until 11am.

Now should I turn my lights off at 7pm for half an hour and then turn them back on and resume the normal pattern (turning off again at 11pm until 11am), or should I turn them off at 7pm and turn them back on at 11am meaning they have a very long dark cycle (16 hours) but it is interrupted.

Thanks for the help!

Definitely shut the lights for a lil bit. during budding, the plants actually grow in the dark too! I've heard of some growers leaving the lights off for the week right before harvest. Your girls should be fine.

To turn the landlord off during light inspection will require the use of rohypnol.

Oh, sorry, misread topic.
It has crossed my mind. No landlord no inspection, right? :fire:

Okay, I will probably just switch the lights back on.
There should be some light leakage too, so I guess it wont be 100% darkness like it is at night.

All tenant growers should put a clapper on their timer that feeds the lighting controller.

Knock on the door, clap off. Lol just kidding totally.
