Hello fellow growers,

I'm just documenting how the grow and smoke goes on these ladies they are about a week old. Using Earth Juice for my nuts. Soil will step them up to 4 gal pots. I don't have a plan on how long I will veg them. I like to keep it loose because I keep a constant flow of Pineapple Express and Wonder Woman through my room. My veg light is a 600 mars hydro. My flower light is a Diy Cree 3590 run at 1400 ma. My Temps sit at 65 to 78, humidity hovers at 30%. I will check ph every watering. Feel free to jump in for the ride, offer advise, or tell me I'm doing it wrong.

Here's the ladies.

Subbed. I did the king tut last year. They turn into some real big monsters. They were not for me, taste and smell was very sweet. But I was not complaining either they made up for it in size and bag appeal. Everyones tastes differ.

I also have a pine ex I love. As much as I see this strain getting bashed on I got nothing but nice plants. I kept one with smaller buds than some but insane tropical smell. Does yours have floppy stems? Mine needs almost every one tied up.

How was the potency of the King Tut? I hear good things about it.

My pineapple ex is very sweet tasting with a hint of Pineapple. Her stem thickness is medium...I don't really have to worry about it until the last 2 weeks of flower. She isn't a heavy yielder but the smoke is good.

Yes my pine ex isn't the biggest yeilder either. I had one with enormous buds but lacked the taste and tropical goodness of the one I kept.

The tut all were big but as I said before it was real sweet smelling. Almost rotting fruit like. It wasn't my cup of tea but others loved it. As far as power it wasn't a heavy hitter but not a slouch. Better as a lazy buzz at night it was for me. Everyone has different reactions and you may love it.

I'm interested in how your cherry bomb and starkiller turns out. They have sounded nice.

I haven't heard to much about the starkiller other then it just won an award. It will be interesting to see how these girls turn out. The cherry bomb and 1 of my 2 starkillers is 2 weeks behind the main group because of a minor mixup with midweek. Unfortunately my frisian duck girls didn't germ so I will have to order them again. Any recommendations for HEAVY hitters? Trying to find something to cross with my MTF.

Ahh I was gonna ask if you went through midweek until I saw it in the last post haha. I got sch, vb, and cherry bomb from them too as freebies. Also got a couple cherry bomb autos I'll run outside. Along with a bunch more freebies that won't get run for quite a while.

I definitely like midweek. The only thing I don't like about them is the single seeds don't seem official but I can get over that. They fixed the issue right away and added a few free seeds for my troubles.

Watered today with PH water only it's 5.6 today.
I would raise that ph a tad. Idk exactly what kind of medium your using but I'd raise it.to around 6.3ish if your in a.peat based medium (which is what it looks like but i could be wrong).

And ya im a fan of midweek Lewis gives great customer service. As far as their singles, some breeders have single seed packs and some don't. If you get singles from royal queen I think they come in the single breeder pack, I thought bomb had them too but it could have been another breeder from my last order (got.stuff from like 5-6 different breeders but my only singles were freebies).

I mix light amounts of peat with ffof when they are in their first few months. Also I probably should have mentioned I like to start the PH a little low in the first few weeks of seedling. I like to sit right at 6.0 to 6.2 seems like the sweet spot for my room. I ramp up nuts about week 3 slowly as well

Hmm interesting thought about seedling ph, may have to do.some expirimenting with some ancient bag seed (from around the 70s haha).
I'm pretty sure that ffof is a peat based mix anyway, so basically I think you might be just cutting it a.bit (which I think it needs sometimes I usually cut with recycled pro mix).

Sorry, for the delay but between work and crazy rescue missions it's been a hectic week. So I watered again on 19May16 with PH at 5.8 and then watered again on 21May16 with PH at 6.0. Then watered with 1/8th tps of calmag and PH at 6.0. Transplanted to larger pots before watering. The picture below is from the 19th.
