i just took a look at mine this morning. she's not very tall (didn't stretch much at all), main stem is bigger than my thumb but you are right, the other branches are pretty thin (less than a pencil)

my 1st bad girl stretched ALOT too. she had the black leaves.
2nd one stretched very little. no black leaves.

Thanks!! I vegged her for 10 weeks and she went for 9 weeks to the day for flower. I could have done 8 but I wanted to see if she could go the full 9 as advertised. Pleased to say there were no issues with the full 9. She has been drying for 5 days now - hoping for another 5 but low rh is making that unlikely. Good luck with yours!!

No Bubba but I have 4 Bag Girl, 6 Hot Mess and 6 T-Dub going atm @ 4 weeks since flip. I noticed all the different types are very similar in smell and structure. Which is good breeding. Also some nice trichome formation on them.
BUT, they are all so small. I noticed this in veg as well. Thin stems and now really below average sized buds. They still have 4 to 5 weeks to go so I will see if they stay like that.

the bad girls were frosty as hell. the first one i let veg way too long, the second one didn't stretch like i wanted it to.
but same phenos ( i think?). almost black fans, tight buds even at the bottom, not huge like you said though.
my only other cookies cross grow was crappy. i forget the breeder but it was bad. the bad girl looks alot like gsc pics i've seen

I've got the pre 98 finishing up in the next couple of days - one of three for my first grow ever. Today marks 10 weeks in bloom.
It was a slow grower for me. I topped it in week 3 of veg and it took the next 2 weeks to recover. It grew really leafy for me and I had to defoliate a couple of times in veg. It did veg for 10 wks and was still half the size of the others I had going.
I probably could have fed it more but I am going organic with some dry amendments and didn't want to overdue it for my first time. Had a couple of pH issues early on - it seems to really like to 6.2 to 6.9 range.
Flower went pretty well for me - it required a pretty heavy defoliation in the first week of flower and very little maintenance after that. Fed once in flower and it seems to have done okay.
I had a Trainwreck (Arcata Cut) going at the same time from twenty20 and it was twice the size of the pre 98 and finished a week earlier. I'm hopeful for the pre 98 though because it looks really good.
It smells incredible - crazy ether/gasoline smells with a hint of lime and some pine coming thru in the last couple of weeks.
I really can't wait to smoke it - it looks amazing, frosty as a snowman. Looks like it might be good for a squish or two and try some resin.

Description of the T-Dub:
Indoors, her yields are huge with minimal vegetative time required, she is ripe in 7-8 weeks. Her tall vine-like structure requires trellis but the efforts are rewarded with a plethora of dense golf ball sized nugs.
I'm wondering what type of "huge" they meant? Golf ball sized nugs? We will see

They are definitely on the small side. The Trainwreck I had came out to 48g and about 60g in larf. Honestly pretty disappointing - but its my very first grow so I'm making the assumption that I have a lot to learn to get better. I think I could have used the trellis to better effect which would have boosted the yield.They look great but on the small side. Hoping the pre 98 comes out similar but I have a feeling that it'll be even smaller.
I trimmed and jarred the Trainwreck last night, and I'll get some pics up of it tonight. Looks really good and smells like you stuck your face into a barrel of grapefruit concentrate - just smaller than desired.
Looking forward to seeing the pics you've got.

I ran Mad Kush (Pre 98 Bubba x Mad Scientist) for a couple of years. Pre 98 Bubba is very heavy and couch lock smoke from my experience. One of the most narcotic strains I ever had.

Dry enough to smoke some? The trainwreck I remember is pine all the way, wondering if theirs is the real stuff. Been eyeing those seeds for a while

Thanks so much for the info. So far so good. She is very greasy, and smells of lemon cake batter, with a little pine, on day 36. Not nearly the stretch I was expecting based on my experience with HSO's TW. I would have vegged longer...

Tried a little last night - definitely has some pine on the exhale but the inhale is straight grapefruit. honestly hoping it mellows a little on the grapefruit and some of the pine notes come to the front.
It also has a really pleasant vanilla undertone after letting the jars burp for about 20 minutes which is awesome. The first whiff is crazy grapefruit and then it mellows.
No worries - it definitely had the lemon scent but I noticed in about week 6 or 7 the grapefruit and pine really started to come thru. I vegged for 10 weeks - that seemed to be okay but I probably would go 11 or 12 next time.
They look really nice - hopefully they chunk up nicely by the end. Here is the one pic I have with me right now of the trimmed jarred product.

Pretty! I think if they are going to ±63 days they're going to bulk up a bit more. I agree about the veg time. Mine is only 31" tall, after four weeks of veg.
