Twisted almost dead new leaf growth

So I waited a little too long to transplant the new clones. They got rootbound and probably over watered a bit. I transplanted the clones exactly seven days ago. The new growth has been twisted and this white bud like ball showed up with pistals coming out. Is it a beggining of a bud already? I believe the twisted new growth was caused either by the rootbinding or over watering. I also watered them with 1300ppm of nutes which I am told I should of used around 900. Please take a look and any advice would be helpful. Using a 600watt HPS with plenty intake/exhaust. Note exacty sure whats causing the issues but im doing a flush tomorrow. Didnt want to flush until the soil dried out a bit, just incase I was overwatering.

thats strange, it looks like its budding, whats the strain? what light schedule you on right now?

Hey a response. Yep I think it looks like its budding too. Strain is GDPK grand daddy purple kush. They have been on 12/12 for 7 days now.

can you get a few CFLs for your clones and get them out from under that hps? You have your lights somewhere between 18/6 and 24/7 right? Not 12/12?

I am hoping since I transplanted 7 days ago the new growth will get bigger and better after the flush tomorrow.

thats a lil early for buds to start showing that well, so maybe you just got a really good pheno. looks good man +rep

Sorry thought i put that in the original post. When I transplanted I also switched to 12/12, its been exactly 7 days now.

Sorry if this is a syupid ? but you do realise that 12/12 makes your plant flower right?

I am a newbie but have never seen bud like that at 7 days, and the small twisted new growth freakd me out. I do relize 12/12 makes the plant flower. Here are some pics of some chem 4.

okay so my issue with the twisted growth was overwatering. I let them dried out for about 8 days then I gave them a good water, 6.8ph.
