No point in checking runoff, organic so waste of time. With salts yes but thats hydro.Feed in should match feed out.A lot more going on in a coco/organic grow.Tricky is a good term ha.I'd still check runoff EC, PPM, Ph, all of the above stuff.. have a Known Member here helping me with similar problem (yellowing) but what you got going is screaming nute burn.
This is what I believe too but I guess it can't hurt to check laterNo point in checking runoff, organic so waste of time. With salts yes but thats hydro.Feed in should match feed out.A lot more going on in a coco/organic grow.Tricky is a good term ha.
Maybe, lot of skeptism over reading runoffs ..most major agriculture growers just test EC of the soil directly. There's that.No point in checking runoff, organic so waste of time. With salts yes but thats hydro.Feed in should match feed out.A lot more going on in a coco/organic grow.Tricky is a good term ha.
I've been doing alot of reading about ag growers using crop steering to get bigger yeilds in living soil then they were in hydro and this is why id rather not flush or cheat by switching to liquid nutes halfway thru like I read about most people doing that see deficiencies in organic. I'd rather fail over and over again till I get it right. I wanted to do living soil beds but figured id start with 5 gals ( crazy thing is I didn't have enough 5 gals and did 1 3 gal and while being smaller it looks the best. I'm not sure if it's the genetics or longer dry backs from being in a smaller container since I water them all at the same time) to start my learning curve cuz to fill the 4 by 4 beds was alot of medium and I figured I could start with 5 gals and the recycle and reamend my soil and add some new on top to fill my beds. I'm really shooting to be as sustainable as possible that's my main goal, then quality, then quantity.Maybe, lot of skeptism over reading runoffs ..most major agriculture growers just test EC of the soil directly. Me too man, didnt have much luck in 5g pots first kick at organics.Switched to SIPs and its on cruise control now.Just fill when you have time and go golfing.I've been doing alot of reading about ag growers using crop steering to get bigger yeilds in living soil then they were in hydro and this is why id rather not flush or cheat by switching to liquid nutes halfway thru like I read about most people doing that see deficiencies in organic.
