I just got my two free packs today. One blue hash and one cloud#9. Theres a percentage on the label. I dont know what that means. The blue hash says 95% and cloud#9 says 65%

maybe germ rate..dinafem is a good company but they will tell u there problems with germ rates not hide them like other companies

Yeah dude they gave away like 20,000 seeds in like 2 or 3 days. From what I was told that it wasn't germination rate, but fem rate. They aren't 100 fem? Do the seeds look viable?

FUCK! I have this really cool dinafem book with all there strains i was gonna add 2 my collection

You can see it in the picture but the ten free seeds i got from dinafem were critical+ and Blue widow. All the critical plus seeds are white lol and only two blue widows are a nice brown. But it's free and i'll just use them for an outdoor grow. Plus the shirt i got in case people are curious lol

I too got some Dinafem freebies and planted 6 of them tonight. 3 Blue Hash and 3 Cloud #9. But after reading this, I don't think I'm actually going to clone them if they sprout.

I'm pretty sure the percentage is the germination % from when they do their mass germination testing.

youre an ignorant douche, dinafem has great genetics. I've had 100% success with seeds i purchased and freebies from dinafem. Dont put down a great breeder like dinafem if you dont know what youre talking about, asshole.

uhh. the fem in dinafem means all are feminized. the % is for germ rates, not % of fems. My critical + has 90% on it, which is what most breeders guarantee anyway. my cloud #9 has 60%.

OOOO thanks for clearing up what the % stands for. I knew they were all fem but i didnt know that was the success rate. My seeds from dinafem are pretty white though. Doesn't that signify older seeds? I'm new to growing still.

As Dinafem is a legitimate business and is also the owner of some excellent and in some cases original (The Cheese, White Widow among others) genetics you can guarantee that the quality of the seeds they produce will be of the highest standard. BUT to ensure they maintain this standard they go through quite a stringent selection process. This means that when they batch test them, any batch that falls below 90% germination but still above 70% is classed as a "Second". Like any natural plant you will get some variance in the genetic make-up but the strains they breed are done on such a massive scale they are able to even out the standard, remove any mutated variations and keep the genetics true.
Some of their newer strains are still being "bedded in" - Critical Jack and Haze Automatic being the two most notable - which means that they are slightly more prone to not breed quite as true as some of their other strains, but having said that they are still very high quality.
All of this information is available from Dinafem so if in doubt just ask them yourselves! No I do not work for Dinafem but I have been dealing with them for quite some time and have met them a number of times at Cannabis Expo's
