my friend after doing some studing on here changed lighting from 24/0 to 18/6 and was in process of trying to make up mind as to wether or not start flowering. and this morning i noticed the little white hairs showing female on 2 of the plants will plants go into flowering without 12/12 lighting? and also should i go ahead and start 12/12 or try keep veging for clones since i know he has two healthy ladies

You can veg as long as you like, unless you have an auto-flowering strains, which will start automatically hence the name. If your lighting schedule is consistant (timers work the best for me) what you are seeing is the pre-sexing of your plants. Now you know that they are girls, congratulations! The choice is yours, veg for a while longer to get your clones, or start 12/12 lighting for flowering.
