yes, you want to separate them and transplant into their own containers. but before you do i suggest you do some reading on this site. there's lot of useful info on growing in the stickies of each forum. if you want to make this more than a hobby you need to study some.

Seperate!!!! Or whatever you choose, roots could possibly grow together and kill eachother ( the dominant plant will win ) But I do recommend seperating them. :)

It's possible to successfully grow 2 plants per container. Just not the way you're doing it. I'd separate them and start reading.

lol i dont know. if you dont have pots to use, or you cant get soil from the store and have to use the backyard dirt id do this:

first you will need two 2-liter bottles. cut off the tops. and only have the bottles about 6 or 7 inches high.

then you need to get enough dirt to fill both 2 liters almost to the top with dirt. but before you go filling the 2-liters, crumble the dirt into a big pan and cook it in the oven at 400 degrees for an hour to sterilize the dirt. then let it cool off obviously.

then you want to almost fill your 2 liters up, that means at least 3/4 full of dirt for each one.

then make 1 hole in the middle of the dirt of each 2-liter big enough so that your roots fit in nicely. then cover up the hole after each plant is in each bottle.

just do that soon while you can still separate your plants.

ohh and poke some holes in the bottom of each bottle to let water drain out.

thats probably the best advice i can give for working with what you have.
