two questions about harvest

#1) I am growing in a tupperware grow-box, and after chopping the plant will hang the whole thing to dry in the same box. Would it be better to have the fans going, to keep air moving and prevent mold, or should I keep the fans off?

#2) Yesterday I pulled out my pen microscope and had a look, and the trichomes are almost all milky with maybe 5% amber on some buds. I would like to harvest soon, as I like an energetic high. What is the minimum flush time needed to prevent the bud from tasting bad? Should 4 days be ok? (I'm using all organic nutes.)

#1 - Yes. Fans stay on.

#2 - Not a clue. I've always been under the impression that the type of high was determined by the variety of weed rather than time of harvest, but I've seen other people claiming it makes a difference. Maybe one of the more experienced/knowledgeable growers can descend and shower us in wisdom.

ihavefeet, can you post pics of your tupperware box setup? Or if you can't, can you tell me what it looks like? i'm looking for a similar way to dry out my buds and your box seems reasonable.

2 - dont be so impatient, give flushing at least a week, and if only 5% are amber then the plant's quite young still....
