Two Strains-Harvest?

I have an Indica strain and a sativa/indica cross. The Indica appears it will be done two weeks before the cross. Should I stop watering the Indica two weeks earlier than the cross as that is the way I would normally do it? Naturally that would also mean I would harvest the Indica two weeks before the cross.

Sounds like a plan. I'm Doing the same thing. One strain is dome in a week then a sativa a couple weeks later.

I normally try to let mine dry out for a few days before harvest too, after i check the trichs and they are about where i want them to finish. That would be the most accurate way, but your way will work good too, if that's the way you are used to doing it. Yeah, the 2 week difference sounds logical, if you expect them to finish two weeks apart. :)

Thanks both. I have heard varying times on cutting off the water but the most common answer it seems is two weeks before harvest. Sound right?

Sorry about that. That's when most people switch to using straight water. I was confused when i read your OP, and was thinking that you quit watering for a few days towards the very end. I don't think it's a very good idea to let them go dry for the last two weeks, 'cause they are still maturing and filling out. 5 days, is the most i would recommend letting them go dry, at the end of bloom. :)

What about nutes (I use Fox Farm-Tiger Bloom and Morbloom)? Should these be cut off at same time as well? Thanks again in advance!

I start tapering down toward the end, then straight water for the last week. There's enough nutes left in the soil to carry them through the last week, for sure. I also flush in the last 3 weeks, then go back to feeding til the last week, that's when i switch to water. There's many ways that'll work great, but that's just the way i do it. :)
