Tying down question! please help me out by answering!

Hi all, i have just tied down my 3 White Widow plants, i was wondering, once the brances have increased in hieght evening out my canopys, do i untie the main cola?

once im flowering

tie it down should get bush not get tall tie it down more then mate

so what happens to the main cola?

You leave it tied down and it will grow back towards the light. It'll give you more room if you have height issues.

but dont ppl do it to increase yield as a main priority?

I've never heard anything about increased yield, I've only heard of people doing it because they have height / space issues. If it does increase yield, I doubt it's by much.

im bending to follow this method, yield is increase ten-fold

when you tye down the top the bottom has time to catch up so you get more big colas cause your canopy was evened out or, you lst so all the nodes along the main stem that are now horizantal from tying it down will grow up and you keep them even and have a lot of colas all of this should be started during veg for best results

where does it say a grower will increase yield ten-fold? it says it's a way to 'maximize' your plant. and the side branches that eventually grow up towards the light don't turn into collas the same size as one big one. the collas are going to be smaller than one big one... but there will be more of them. you will increase yield, but it's not anything close to 'ten-fold'~
as for your question... i believe you leave the 'main' branch tied down. you spiral it around until you run out of room in the pot, then let it go~. if you run out of room in your pot... then just let the end hang, and it will eventually work upward towards the light.

I thought tenfold was an extreme exageration too. If that was the case LST would be the only way to grow.
